As noted in yesterday’s e-mail alert, late yesterday USCIS announced that the export certification requirement in the new Form I-129 (Petition for a Nonimmigrant Worker) will be suspended for 60 days to allow employers additional time to develop the procedures necessary for compliance. Although petitioners must use the new Form I-129 effective today, petitioners need not complete Part 6 of Form I-129 until February 20, 2011.
