On April 1, 2016, hospitals begin participating in the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) Comprehensive Care for Joint Replacement model (the “CCJR Model”). Participating hospitals will be subject to a bundled payment model for lower extremity joint replacement (LEJR) procedures and related care. Under this new model, hospitals may receive incentive payments for meeting certain objectives − or be forced to make payments to CMS if target amounts are exceeded.
This webinar focused on:
- What hospitals and providers need to know to comply with CCJR Model regulations
- How to design gainsharing arrangements with other providers related to the CCJR Model
- Factors hospitals and providers should consider before entering into gainsharing arrangements
Speakers
- Gretchen Heinze Townshend
- Meggan Michelle Bushee
