On January 25, Tysons Labor and Employment Associates John Thomas and Gina LeBlanc offered training to more than 40 human resource professionals on various advanced employment law topics. The presentation included interactive discussions on recordings in the workplace, must-have provisions in severance agreements, social media background checks, disciplining employees for off-duty conduct, and drafting air-tight restrictive covenants. The presentation developed as a partnership between McGuireWoods and the Northern Virginia chapter of the Society of Human Resources Management (SHRM).
