McGuireWoods partners Kristen McDermott Woodrum and Ed Brooks will speak at the American Health Law Association (AHLA) Annual Meeting in San Francisco next week.
On June 27 at 8 a.m. and 2 p.m., Kristen McDermott Woodrum will co-present “Can We Be Friends? Health System Approaches to PE Roll-Ups of Key Medical Staff (Advanced).” This session will examine challenges hospitals face when competing or contracting with private equity (PE) and presents novel collaboration models for hospitals, private equity and physicians. Presenters will discuss:
- Emerging PE-physician investments and the challenges and opportunities for hospitals
- Key strategic risk areas for health systems
