In a Nov. 27 Law360 article, attorneys Holly Buckley, Thomas Zahn, Timothy Fry and Amanda Roenius explained why private equity investors remain enthusiastic about opportunities in vision care services.
The article, “Why Private Equity Has Eyes on Vision Care,” covers notable recent investments in the sector and market dynamics that investors should consider when evaluating opportunities in the space.
“With an aging population, increased incidence of diseases that exacerbate certain eye conditions such as diabetes and obesity, significant cash-based premium business opportunities, and a highly fragmented industry, the vision space should continue buoying enthusiasm well into 2019,” the authors wrote.
Buckley, Fry and Roenius are based in Chicago and are members of the firm’s healthcare practice. Zahn is an M&A and private equity partner in the firm’s Pittsburgh office.
