Law360 featured McGuireWoods’ Atlanta office in an Oct. 6, 2023, story, reporting that the firm’s new home in the city is designed to encourage greater collaboration and provide a more welcoming environment for special events such as CLEs and networking receptions.
McGuireWoods recently relocated its Atlanta office to 1075 Peachtree St. NE, a new 38-story mixed-use tower consisting of 700,000 square feet of class A office space, along with retail space and the 414-room Loews Atlanta Hotel topped with 52 residences. The building offers easy access to many of Atlanta’s popular Midtown Mile restaurants, retail shops, hotels and public transportation.
Chris Greene, managing partner of McGuireWoods’ Atlanta office, told Law360 that the new workspace is designed so that attorneys are on one floor and have more space to work together.
“It just helps to build the collegiality that I think this firm is really built on and a lot of our people in Atlanta are really great to be around,” Greene told Law360.
Law360 noted the recent additions to the firm’s Atlanta office, including litigation partner Adam Sowatzka, real estate partner Nicholas Dancey and McGuireWoods Consulting senior vice president Spiro Amburn, all of whom joined the office this year; and healthcare partner Kristen McDermott Woodrum, who joined in 2022.
