The National Law Journal and Law360 are among the news outlets that reported on McGuireWoods’ appointment of new leaders in five of the firm’s offices, announced June 22, 2023.
Maintaining its longstanding practice of rotating key leadership positions, the firm announced that Tanya Greene has been named office managing partner of its downtown Los Angeles office; McGuireWoods Consulting’s Holly Deshields is the new office managing professional in Austin; Elizabeth Hogan will become office managing partner of the Washington, D.C., office, effective Aug. 1; Penny Zacharias will become Pittsburgh office managing partner on Sept. 1; and Jack L. White will take over as office managing partner in Tysons, effective Sept. 1.
Managing partner J. Tracy Walker IV told the NLJ that the firm rotates office leadership roles “to let someone bring fresh energy and fresh ideas and to give a broader group of our partners opportunity to serve the firm.”
Global Legal Chronicle, the Secured Finance Network, Corporate Counsel Business Journal and Bloomberg Law’s Wake Up Call column also covered the appointments. In addition, The Recorder, American Lawyer Media’s California publication, noted Greene’s appointment in its weekly On the Move column.
