Law360 reported on the recent arrival of McGuireWoods Washington, D.C., associate Grace Greene Simmons, who joined the firm after clerking for Chief Justice of the United States John G. Roberts Jr.
Simmons represents clients in investigations and litigation, including appellate matters. She is one of 10 former U.S. Supreme Court clerks in McGuireWoods’ nationally recognized appellate practice.
Simmons previously clerked for Judge Stephanos Bibas of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 3rd Circuit and Judge Gene E.K. Pratter of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
“After those fulfilling experiences, I wanted to go into private practice to help clients work through thorny legal issues and craft their best arguments to an agency or court,” Simmons said. “Practicing at McGuireWoods allows me to do just that, as I work alongside and learn from talented and thoughtful attorneys who are generous with their time and mentorship.”
