Howard, an accomplished litigator who advises corporate and individual clients in commercial disputes, appeals and government investigations is the ninth partner to join the firm’s D.C. office since July 2024. She represents clients in cases involving constitutional issues such as free speech, religious freedom and sovereign immunity, breach of contract disputes and consumer protection claims. She also counsels clients in government and congressional investigations and conducts internal investigations to address potential regulatory and workplace concerns.
Howard told Law360 that her broad commercial litigation practice is an asset.
She said as a general litigator she is comfortable learning new things and working with different clients. “I really feel that McGuireWoods has a structure that allows me to grow my practice in all of those areas and all of those industries and continue to develop strong relationships with clients.”
