For the second time this year, members of our Los Angeles office (along with friends and family members) recently shopped, cooked and served lunch to 60 homeless women at the Downtown Women’s Center. Founded in 1978, the center is a nationally recognized nonprofit that provides 50,000 meals, and a variety of health, education and other supportive services to 2,500 homeless and very low-income women annually – one of the few centers exclusively dedicated to these special women.
