McGuireWoods LLP today announced that Stephen Older has joined the firm as a partner in its corporate and securities group in New York. As part of his practice, Older routinely represents both issuers and underwriters in a broad variety of securities transactions and has experience in a number of different industries, including healthcare, consumer and financial services and REITs, and has broad mergers and acquisitions and private equity experience.

“Having someone with Stephen’s background is a great addition to our team,” said Tom Cabaniss, McGuireWoods managing partner. “As we look to continue growing our corporate securities and transactional teams in New York, we are excited to put his experience to use for our clients.”
”Having had the pleasure of sitting across the table from McGuireWoods on previous transactions, I’m well aware of this team’s experience and reputation,” Older said. “I’m looking forward to joining them and working to expand the services we offer our clients.”
