McGuireWoods partner Sara Holladay-Tobias has been selected for the Jacksonville Business Journal’s 2017 “40 Under 40” list, which honors Jacksonville-area professionals younger than 40 for career achievements and community leadership. They are featured in an April 21 special section.
“I am deeply honored to be recognized among this group of distinguished professionals who have made such positive contributions to the Jacksonville community,” Holladay-Tobias said.
She represents some of the largest U.S. transportation companies and banking institutions in complex commercial, real estate and financial services litigation and plays a key role in managing the firm’s work pending in Florida appellate courts. She is instrumental in recruiting, hiring and mentoring McGuireWoods staff and attorneys in the firm’s Jacksonville office.
Holladay-Tobias serves as a barrister member of the Chester Bedell American Inn of Court, an association of lawyers, judges and other legal professionals that provides continuing legal education to improve skills, professionalism and ethics. She participated in a pro bono clinic McGuireWoods held jointly with a client to assist Jacksonville-area low-income seniors prepare documents, such as living wills and powers of attorney. For the past three years, she has been a member of a McGuireWoods team that participated in the Jacksonville Bar Association Young Lawyers Section’s Annual Charity Chili Cook-Off.
