The Daily Journal named McGuireWoods partner Sabrina A. Beldner to its list of Top Labor & Employment Lawyers for 2021, honoring California’s most accomplished attorneys for significant contributions to their practice area.
Beldner chairs McGuireWoods’ Labor & Employment Department and is regarded by clients as a go-to attorney for high-stakes discrimination, wage-and-hour litigation, and traditional labor matters. She represents businesses in individual, class, and representative action claims and labor law matters and conducts high-level employee misconduct investigations and management training on preventing workplace harassment, discrimination and retaliation.
“I am honored to be included in this group of respected labor and employment attorneys,” Beldner said. “I am grateful to my McGuireWoods colleagues for their support and to our clients for entrusting us with their most important legal matters.”
In addition to chairing the firm’s Labor & Employment Department, Beldner leads the firm’s LGBTQ+ Lawyers Network and serves on its Diversity & Inclusion Committee. Her past community involvement has included volunteering for numerous LGBTQ+ organizations.
Beldner was named one of Lawdragon’s “500 Leading Corporate Employment Lawyers” for 2020. She also has been named to the Los Angeles Business Journal’s “Most Influential Minority Attorneys” list and recognized as a “Woman of Influence” by L.A. Biz. In addition, the National LGBT Bar Association honored her on its inaugural “Best LGBT Lawyers Under 40” list.
McGuireWoods’ Labor & Employment Department earned nationwide recognition in the 2021 edition of the “Chambers USA” guide and received a national Tier 1 ranking in the 2021 edition of U.S. News-Best Lawyers’ “Best Law Firms.”
