McGuireWoods Richmond healthcare associate Paul Kiehl will join Flatiron Health as corporate counsel on Sept. 8, 2021. In this role, he will assist with contracting and regulatory advising for Flatiron Health’s community oncology technology and services.
Since joining the firm in November 2015, Kiehl has represented healthcare providers and companies in corporate, transactional and regulatory compliance matters. He also represents lenders, borrowers and equity sponsors in healthcare-related lending transactions. Kiehl has been included twice on Best Lawyers’ “Ones to Watch” list for Health Care Law and Mergers and Acquisitions Law.
While earning his law degree at the University of Richmond, Kiehl served as a judicial extern for Judge Roger L. Gregory of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 4th Circuit. He also was a senior staff member on the University of Richmond Law Review and a Walter Scott McNeill Honors Law Society member.
“During my time at McGuireWoods, I’ve been extremely fortunate to work with and learn from exceptional attorneys across practice areas and departments,” Kiehl said. “I am very grateful for the support and encouragement from my colleagues over the past six years and look forward to continuing the wonderful relationships with my friends and colleagues at the firm.”
“Paul has been a valuable asset to our team,” said Holly Buckley, who chairs McGuireWoods’ Healthcare Department. “He is a talented lawyer and terrific teammate, and we wish him tremendous success in his new role.”
