Ewelina Kemp, an associate in McGuireWoods’ Corporate & Private Equity Department in Pittsburgh, joined software company Pegasystems. Her last day at McGuireWoods was April 15, 2022.
As associate corporate counsel for Pega, Kemp will work on M&A, investments and strategic transactions, as well as handle SEC filings, support global equity-related matters and assist with corporate governance. Her first day at Pega was April 18.
Upon joining McGuireWoods in September 2018, Kemp focused her practice on corporate and private equity transactions. She represented public and privately held companies, private equity funds, and institutional investors in transactional matters such as platform and add-on acquisitions, mergers, equity investments, divestitures, recapitalizations, joint ventures, corporate governance, commercial contracts and other corporate matters.

Kemp received her J.D. from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, where she was managing editor of the Pittsburgh Tax Review and a judicial intern for the Pennsylvania Superior Court. She earned her LL.M. in comparative law from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law and a master of laws degree from Adam Mickiewicz University.
