The Daily Journal named McGuireWoods partner Sabrina A. Beldner to its list of “Top Labor & Employment Lawyers” for 2022, the second consecutive year she has been honored as one of California’s most accomplished attorneys in her practice area.
Beldner chairs McGuireWoods’ Labor & Employment Department and is the driving force behind the firm’s California employment law practice. She is regarded by clients as a go-to attorney for high-stakes discrimination, wage-and-hour litigation, and traditional labor matters. Beldner represents businesses in individual, class, and representative action claims and labor law matters and conducts high-level employee misconduct investigations and management training on preventing workplace harassment, discrimination and retaliation.
In addition to leading McGuireWoods’ Labor & Employment Department, Beldner has served as chair of the firm’s LGBTQ+ Lawyers Network and has developed and led high-profile firm diversity initiatives.
“I am proud to again be included in this group of highly respected lawyers,” Beldner said. “This recognition is also a tribute to our McGuireWoods team and our clients and I am grateful for their support.”
Among her many honors, Beldner recently was named Labor & Employment Lawyer of the Year in the 2022 Women in Business Law Awards: Americas, presented by Euromoney’s Legal Media Group. The annual awards honor women lawyers and law firms for exemplary service and advancing diversity and inclusion in the legal profession.
In addition, Lawdragon twice named Beldner one of its “500 Leading Corporate Employment Lawyers,” the Los Angeles Business Journal selected her for its “Most Influential Minority Attorneys” list and L.A. Biz recognized her as a “Woman of Influence.”
McGuireWoods’ Labor & Employment Department earned nationwide recognition in the 2022 edition of the Chambers USA guide and received a national Tier 1 ranking in the 2022 edition of U.S. News-Best Lawyers’ “Best Law Firms.”
