McGuireWoods Chicago partners Amy Manning and Angelo Russo again have been recognized among Lawdragon’s 500 Leading Litigators in America. The annual guide spotlights attorneys for their work representing corporations and other organizations in antitrust, intellectual property, securities and corporate governance litigation, white collar and government investigations matters, as well as class actions, product liability and other complex civil litigation.

Manning is co-leader of McGuireWoods’ antitrust practice group and immediate past chair of the firm’s Antitrust, Trade & Commercial Litigation Department. She handles criminal and civil antitrust matters for international and U.S. companies, as well as individuals, throughout the United States.

Manning is an officer of the American Bar Association Antitrust Law Section Leadership. She served as vice chair of the 2024 ABA Antitrust Section International Cartel Workshop, recognized globally as the premier international cartel conference. It was the third time she served as vice chair of the prestigious conference. She co-founded the Chicago Women Antitrust Lawyers Network — the first professional networking group for women antitrust lawyers in the area. Manning serves on McGuireWoods’ executive committee and board of partners and is former managing partner of the firm’s Chicago office.

Russo represents individuals and international and domestic companies in criminal antitrust investigations and civil antitrust litigation. His practice also includes other complex commercial litigation matters, such as civil RICO litigation, healthcare matters, false claims and qui tam litigation, and white collar criminal defense.

Russo has held several leadership positions within the ABA Antitrust Law Section and he serves on Law360’s editorial advisory board on competition law. He also chaired McGuireWoods’ national recruiting committee.
