Cassie is a member of the Commercial Litigation department and focuses her practice on healthcare litigation. Cassie represents and advises clients throughout the country in a variety of matters involving the False Claims Act, payor-provider disputes, restrictive covenants, shareholder and partnership disputes, and contract disputes.
Cassie’s clients include health systems, hospitals, private equity firms, physician practices, management service organizations, and ambulatory surgery centers. Cassie’s representation stems across all components of litigation and pre-litigation activities.
Before joining McGuireWoods, Cassie worked as a litigation associate for an international commercial law firm where she represented and advised clients in a variety of matters including antitrust litigation, consumer class actions, mass tort settlements, product liability lawsuits, and civil rights litigation. At the Vanderbilt University Law School, Cassie received scholastic excellence awards in Constitutional Law and Property Law, and was elected to Order of the Coif.
