Kirsten’s practice involves the full array of environmental issues including advising clients on regulatory requirements arising under federal and state environmental statutes, as well as representation in litigation matters.
Kirsten earned her law degree from William & Mary Law School, where she focused her studies on administrative law and litigation. Kirsten was a member of the editorial board of the Environmental Law and Policy Review, served as an extern to the Honorable David J. Novak at the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia, and participated as a legal representative in the William & Mary Special Education Advocacy Clinic.
Before law school, Kirsten worked in healthcare and human subjects research at a leading academic center, where she coordinated qualitative and multi-site quantitative health outcomes and measurement studies. Her responsibilities included project management, regulatory compliance, and data collection. Kirsten is able to use this experience to benefit her clients in environmental matters where health and science issues arise, such as with national ambient air quality standards under the Clean Air Act.
