Max concentrates his practice in complex commercial litigation and represents clients across multiple industries in both state and federal courts.
Max attended the University of Wisconsin Law School in his hometown of Madison. In law school, Max served as a note & comment editor for the Wisconsin Law Review and argued in national moot court competitions. Prior to law school, Max worked for the California Wine Institute, where he helped member wineries navigate laws and regulations related to advertising, labeling, food safety, and international trade. He also worked with the FDA, TTB, and FTC on proposed rulemaking affecting the wine industry to best position wineries for success in new regulatory environments. Max completed his undergraduate studies at UCLA, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in Global Studies.
