Erin practices within the firm’s healthcare department and advises her clients on a broad range of transactional, regulatory, compliance, and corporate matters. Erin focuses her practice on corporate healthcare transactional work and primarily counsels private equity funds and healthcare clients, including medical practices, ambulatory surgery centers, and hospitals. She counsels clients on a variety of matters including the Anti-Kickback Statute, Stark Law, state fraud and abuse laws, structuring transactions, regulatory due diligence, state corporate practice of medicine doctrines, affiliation agreements and compliance matters.

In law school, Erin worked as a judicial extern for the Honorable Michael B. Hyman of the Illinois First Appellate District and was the editor-in-chief of the Loyola University Chicago Law Journal. She was a Beazley Institute Health Law Fellow, competed on Loyola’s Health Law Transactional Competition Team, and was inducted into the Alpha Sigma Nu Honor Society. Erin also earned a Health Law Certificate, a Concentration in Health Care Compliance, and the CALI Excellence for the Future Award for Advanced Writing for Legal Practice: Pre-Trial Civil Litigation.

  • Representation of Gauge Capital, a private equity firm, in its acquisition of Urology Austin, one of the largest private urology practices in Texas, to form Urology America, a platform aimed at creating a best in class urology platform with a national footprint.
  • Representation of Assured Healthcare Partners, a leading healthcare services investor, in its investment in Allied Digestive Health, an integrated network of New Jersey-based gastroenterology care centers.
  • Representation of Midwest Eye Consultants, a management service provider to eye care practices in Indiana and northwest Ohio, in connection with a strategic investment from Sentinel Capital Partners, a private equity firm.
  • Representation of Atlantic Vision Partners, an ophthalmology platform backed by private equity firm Sheridan Capital Partners, in several add-on acquisitions of ophthalmology practices.
  • Representation of Sterling Partners, a diversified investment management platform, in its sale of Results Physiotherapy, one of the largest and fastest growing physical therapy companies in the U.S., to Upstream Rehabilitation, a leading pure-play outpatient physical therapy services provider and a portfolio company of Revelstoke Capital Partners, a private equity firm.
  • Representation Sunvera Group, a management service organization providing services to ophthalmology practices across multiple specialties and backed by Ridgemont Equity Partners, a Charlotte-based private equity firm, in its add-on acquisition of Rohr Eye & Laser Center, a leader in vision correction, cataract surgery and LASIK.
  • Representation of Behavioral Outcomes Management d/b/a ExpertCare, a leading provider of home and community based healthcare services and division of VersiCare Group, in its acquisition of Community Resource Network of Florida, a provider of care and services to adults and children with disabilities.
