Natalina “Nat” DePina’ focuses her practice on commercial litigation with an emphasis on tort litigation, product and consumer litigation and international arbitration. She has extensive experience serving as national coordinating counsel for a premier transportation company handling a variety of complex tort matters. Nat also represents clients in employment litigation involving internal investigations, allegations of misconduct, retaliation, discrimination and harassment. She also advises and represents a broad range of financial institutions, retailers and other organizations in individual and class actions in both state and federal courts.
Prior to joining McGuireWoods, Nat served as a law clerk for the Honorable Denise J. Casper, United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts where she worked on a wide variety of civil and criminal cases. Nat also worked in-house for the Office of the General Counsel at Converse Inc. She graduated from Boston College Law School and served as a judicial extern to the Honorable David J. Barron of the United States Court of Appeals for the First Circuit. During law school, Nat also served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Angel Kelley of Norfolk County Superior Court in Massachusetts.
Prior to law school, Nat worked at a multinational investment bank and financial services company and a privately owned investment firm. Nat is the author of “Domestic Violence, Children and State Intervention,” Matthew Bender & Co.; Volume 35, Issue No.1 and co-author of “Avoiding Liability During Corporate Dissolution,” Bloomberg Law, July 2020.
