Robert focuses his practice on financial services litigation, where he represents lenders in mortgage related lawsuits and other matters.
Before joining McGuireWoods, Robert represented insurance carriers and employers in workers’ compensation and general liability matters as an associate with two different regional insurance defense law firms. In these capacities, Robert made numerous court appearances on behalf of clients, and handled all mediations and depositions.
Robert received his undergraduate degrees from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2011, and his law degree from Saint Louis University School of Law in 2015. At UNC, Robert was a member of the men’s swimming and diving team where he was part of the All-ACC Academic Swimming and Diving Team in 2011. In law school, Robert served as a judicial extern for Hon. Judge Angela T. Quigless on the Missouri Court of Appeals. He also served as the lead executive editor for the Saint Louis University School of Law’s Public Law Review.
