Matt Matthews is a 30-year veteran of Texas government and politics. He has served in various positions in both the Texas House and Senate including serving as chief of staff in the House and Senate and as general counsel for House and Senate committees.
Matthews has represented a wide array of clients on matters of education, taxation, healthcare, transportation, gaming, technology and telecommunications. He has represented a variety of clients with regard to legislative, regulatory and procurement matters. His clients have included Parkland Hospital, Quest Diagnostics, Easai Pharmaceuticals, Texas Credit Union League, Pearson Learning, Young Energy and Pinnacle Entertainment. He has a wealth of political experience having served as the campaign manager for a former U.S. senator from Texas and variety of local and statewide campaigns.
Matt is a licensed attorney and has been admitted to the U.S. Supreme Court Bar. He has a law degree from Texas Wesleyan University and holds an undergraduate degree in political science from Oklahoma State University.
