Zach has broad experience in complex commercial litigation. He has handled matters at both the trial and appellate court levels involving, among other things, contract disputes, real estate disputes, and financial services disputes. Zach has represented clients at all stages of litigation, including prelitigation negotiations, at both jury and bench trials, and throughout appellate proceedings.
Before joining McGuireWoods, Zach earned his undergraduate degree from East Tennessee State University where he participated in the Roan Scholars Leadership Program. Zach went on to earn his Juris Doctorate from Wake Forest University. During law school, Zach served as a judicial extern to the Honorable Ronnie Greer, United States District Judge Eastern District of Tennessee. Additionally, Zach received the George A. Spiegelberg Award from the American College of Trial Lawyers.
After graduation, Zach served as a law clerk to the Honorable Graham C. Mullen, United States District Judge for the Western District of North Carolina.
