Van is a high-stakes commercial litigator, representing corporate clients in financial services, healthcare, and energy industries in state and federal courts. Van is experienced in all stages of litigation in cases involving torts, contract disputes, property disputes, class actions, energy, and financial disputes.
Van maintains an active pro bono practice in areas including child advocacy and veteran’s and prisoner’s rights. Before joining McGuireWoods, Van received his undergraduate degree from Presbyterian College and graduated first in his class. Van received his Juris Doctorate from Wake Forest University School of Law where he served as the Symposium Editor for the Journal of Business and Intellectual Property.
