Jamilah focuses her practice on representing agents, borrowers, and lenders in a range of transactions including corporate lending, asset-based lending, syndicated finance, and public finance transactions.
Jamilah received her JD from Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law. While attending law school, Jamilah was a member of the Community Justice and Civil Rights Clinic Center and received Public Service recognition for over 50 hours of pro bono service.
Jamilah earned her Master of Business Administration from Northwestern Kellogg School of Management where she received the Dean’s Service Award for her impact on the Kellogg community.
Prior to joining McGuireWoods, Jamilah worked at various multinational financial services institutions in the United States and Japan. Jamilah received her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Fisk University.
