Jason focuses his practice on energy and utility regulation. Specifically, he assists in representing regulated energy companies before state utility commissions, including the South Carolina Public Service Commission.
Jason is an experienced litigator and strategist. Prior to joining McGuireWoods, he was a litigation associate at a national law firm in Columbia, South Carolina, where he was involved in general business, contractual, consumer financial services and investment management litigation. Jason has experience in various phases of litigation at the trial and appellate levels before state and federal courts, including briefing and arguing discovery and dispositive motions. He also has experience in litigating before various dispute resolution forums, including the American Arbitration Association and the FINRA Arbitration Forum.
Prior to practicing law, Jason spent more than a decade working at two community financial institutions in South Carolina.
