Oscar is an associate in the firm’s Mergers and Acquisitions and Energy Transactional department whose practice focuses on UK and international M&A, corporate finance, private equity, corporate reorganisations, corporate governance, partnerships and joint ventures.

Oscar gained his GDL and LPC from BPP University and also attended the University of Bristol where he graduated with an upper second-class honors degree in French and Italian. He also attended La Sorbonne university in Paris.

Prior to joining McGuireWoods, Oscar was a paralegal at two City law firms, specialising in Debt Finance, a regional firm specialising in litigation and residential real estate and in-house at an online fast-fashion and cosmetic retailer.

  • Advised Charlotte-based private equity firm, on its acquisition of a publisher of educational health materials.
  • Advised California-based investment firm on its investment in a knowledge-based tech platform.
  • Advised North Carolina based private equity firm on its acquisition of a provider of equipment service, maintenance, and repair for biopharma laboratory instruments and the financing of the acquisition by a third-party lender.
