Hans focuses his practice on representing corporate defendants in a variety of environmental, mass tort, and product liability matters.
Prior to joining McGuireWoods, Hans served as a law clerk to the Honorable Chief Justice S. Bernard Goodwyn of the Supreme Court of Virginia.
Hans is a graduate of Regent University School of Law, where he served as graduate assistant to the dean, North Carolina Chief Justice Mark D. Martin (Ret.). During law school, Hans was also a graduate assistant for a master’s level torts class and a staff member of the Regent University Law Review. Additionally, Hans served in the law school’s legal aid clinic.
After law school, Hans worked as a law clerk in Colorado’s 19th Judicial District and as a law clerk in the North Carolina Court of Appeals.
