Payton focuses her practice on representing both financial institutions and borrowers in the structuring, documentation and negotiation of a broad range of debt financing transactions. She has assisted with syndicated and bilateral senior credit facilities, including acquisition financings and asset-based lending transactions for companies in the energy, healthcare, and security alarm industries, among others.
Payton received her law degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law in May 2022. While at Pitt, she served as a managing editor for the Journal of Law and Commerce as well as a teaching assistant for Legal Analysis and Writing. Payton received her undergraduate degree from the University of Pittsburgh, where she graduated magna cum laude.
