Shelby focuses her practice on advising buyers, sellers and developers on mergers and acquisitions and corporate advisory matters in the oil and gas, power and renewable energy sectors of the energy industry.
Shelby received her undergraduate degree from Texas A&M University, where she graduated cum laude, and her law degree from Pepperdine Caruso School of Law. While attending law school, Shelby obtained a certificate from the Straus Institute for alternative dispute resolution and served as a disaster relief clinic intern where she provided pro-bono assistance to clients impacted by natural disasters, managed insurance claims and appeals, and drafted FEMA applications, appeals, and correspondence.
