Tristan advises clients on mergers and acquisitions along with general corporate governance issues with a focus on energy transactions.
Tristan received his J.D. from the University of Richmond School of Law and his B.A. from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. During law school, Tristan served for three years in the Student Bar Association and was elected student body president. He also served as alumni relations editor on the Richmond Journal of Law and Technology.
Prior to joining McGuireWoods, Tristan worked as a corporate associate at a large law firm in Northern Virginia and Washington D.C. Tristan also served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Henry E. Hudson in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia. In law school, Tristan worked as a general assembly tracker for McGuireWoods Consulting.
