Dakota regularly defends employers in all aspects of employment law, including single-plaintiff, class and collective actions involving claims of discrimination, retaliation, harassment, employment-related torts, and violations of wage-and-hour laws. She has experience assisting with workplace investigations, pay equity analyses, and conducting sexual harassment and discrimination training.

In addition, Dakota advises educational institutions on issues related to Title VI, Title IX, and/or Office of Civil Rights investigations, and faculty and student conduct matters.

Dakota also counsels clients across several industries on various workplace laws, including the ADA, ADEA, Title VII, FMLA, and related state and local laws, and routinely assists clients in updating workplace policies and employee handbooks.
