Dakota regularly defends employers in all aspects of employment law, including single-plaintiff, class and collective actions involving claims of discrimination, retaliation, harassment, employment-related torts, and violations of wage-and-hour laws. She has experience assisting with workplace investigations, pay equity analyses, and conducting sexual harassment and discrimination training.
In addition, Dakota counsels clients across several industries on various workplace laws, including the ADA, ADEA, Title VII, FMLA, and related state and local laws. Dakota also routinely assists clients in updating workplace policies and employee handbooks.
Prior to joining McGuireWoods, Dakota was an associate at another AM Law 100 firm in Chicago, and clerked at the International Union, United Automobile, Aerospace and Agricultural Implement Workers of America (UAW).
