- Advised a diversified energy company on the implications of purchasing a water pipeline.
- Defended a diversified energy company before the Pennsylvania Environmental Hearing Review Board against claims including alleged releases of contaminants at well sites and alleged permit violations.
- Defended a coal company against claims assisted by more than 100+ plaintiffs alleging property damage and water contamination.
- Defended an international produce wholesaler against a Fortune 500 company’s breach of contract claims.
- Assisted a hospital system in recovering damages resulting from the failed acquisition of a physician practice.
- Recovered more than half of a million dollars in property taxes assessed in violation of a coal company’s due process rights and established new precedence before the Supreme Court of Appeals of West Virginia.
- Recovered more than $1 million dollars in disputed funds from a state entity through pre-litigation negotiations on behalf of a government contractor.
- Defended a home health care company against the United States Department of Labor’s challenge to the classification of more than 500 independent contractors.
- Obtained summary judgment on behalf of a national financial institution for the breach of a commercial note.
