Piper’s practice focuses on complex commercial and financial services litigation. She has extensive experience representing individuals, financial institutions, and corporate clients in federal and state courts as well as in enforcement actions. Piper’s successful advocacy has resulted in numerous dismissals, beneficial settlements, and favorable awards at trial and arbitration.
Piper advises her clients on legal issues spanning all phases of complex multi-party litigation through trial, including drafting and arguing dispositive motions, conducting discovery, taking and defending depositions, and participating in mediation. She is passionate about developing legal strategies to help her clients achieve their goals.
Prior to joining McGuireWoods, Piper managed a broad-based practice focused on a variety of civil litigation matters, including products liability, toxic tort, construction, and general liability.
